Oxford Mindfulness Centre's MBCT Courses
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) was developed by researchers at the University of Toronto and University of Oxford. The Oxford Mindfulness Centre has adapted MBCT into several psychoeducational courses to provide the general public with practical guidance and training in mindfulness skills. These courses aim to improve symptoms of anxiety, low mood, and stress while enhancing positive emotions and overall mental well-being. By cultivating self-awareness and fostering attitudes of kindness and compassion, participants learn to manage their thoughts and emotions more effectively, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.
